The statue of Andrea Pisano (active between 1290–1348) made around 1340 represents the third-century Christian martyr Saint Reparata, who became a patron of Florence during the Middle Ages. The marble statue was originally located in the baptistry of the Florence Cathedral, now it can be found in the museum of the cathedral. The virgin martyr wears a crown and holds a palm leaf in her hand. Commissioned by the museum in 1909, the cast was made by Giuseppe Lelli in Florence. It was exhibited in the Romanesque Hall, in 1910. Probably lost during World War II, current whereabouts of the artwork are unknown.
