Statue of a kneeling angel from the tabernacle of St. Andrew Church in Kalchreuth, made by Adam Kraft (ca. 1455/1460–1509) in 1498. The cast formed part of the gift given to the museum in 1907 by Elsa Göschel from Nuremberg, who married Hungarian Gábor Durkó and moved to Budapest. The cast was made by Elsa Göschel’s father, Johann, a stone carver and cast maker in the German city. The copy was exhibited in the Romanesque Hall. Probably lost during World War II, the current whereabouts of the artwork are unknown.
